I really don’t like my hair. It’s just horrible. I simply cannot stand it! About a year ago I decided that I would invest in a pair of top quality straighteners to aid me manage my locks as I was tired of fighting my hair every single morning.
The first time I heard of ghd irons was when my hairdresser asked me if I would like to try out some new straighteners they had just got in. My hair dresser said it would reduce my time at the salon in half. To begin with I borrowed my friend’s to use but it soon became apparent that I would need to get my own as I needed them every day – and so did my friend.
To make sure you are not buying fakes I would be very wary when ordering on the net and only buy from websites that are official autorised ghd merchants. I found this comparison web site: ghd styler that lists the prices from all of the ghd athorised dealers and had no problems.
GHD styling irons come in 3 sizes, those with thinner plates for short hair the mini styler, medium sized plates like those of the MK4 styler and thicker plates for very thick hair the salon styler. Normally I would have opted for the largest plates possible as I have really thick hair but I went for the medium size ghd as I wanted to try curling my hair with them as well – the salon styler would not be as good at curling.
My only small quibble is that they can sometimes take while to cool down after all they have reached incredibly high temperatures and this can be a problem when i have to pack them away when travelling for business, but I guess this is where the heat resistant pouch accessory would come in useful. They are a fantastic product and i can’t recommend them highly enough, there is certainly no going back to life before
